About John Bramston

Headteacher's Message: Article 28: Children have a right to education

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the children, their parents and carers, families,
friends, staff,
governors and members of the local community who are central to the life of
John Bramston Primary school. We are also proud to be a Unicef Rights Respecting Gold School upholding the conventions 42 Articles, and achieving GOLD Schools Mental Health Award, we ensure pupils wellbeing is prioritised and central to all we do.

The school abides by the Core values of : Aspiration & Achievement, Creativity &
 and Respect &
Responsibility which make our school a happy and harmonious
place to learn and work.

Our prospectus cites: "We believe that children can develop responsibility, with respect for
themselves and each other, thus creating a community that has values and attitudes that
will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives".

We hope that children will learn a great deal whilst they are with us, that they are happy and
that they learn to enjoy learning."  These principles are integral to school ethos and
what I also firmly adhere to and believe in. We uphold our actions from Article 3: Working towards what is best for each child.
